PLM Software Engineer

Our business since its inception in 1991 has been to develop the best retail dealer system and information services for the automotive industry. In the current situation, we have about 100 employees with expertise in areas such as automotive trade, project management, systems and IT. Some of our largest customers are Volvo, Renault and Ford dealers and their general agents and today we have over 10 000 users of our solutions. We are seated in beautiful, newly renovated premises at Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volvo Car Sweden.

What you will do?
Work with maintenance, operation, and support for Teamcenter, CATIA and misc. design software. Propose and develop functionality that will improve stability and performance.
Investigating new technologies to improve and optimize the application.
Problem solving attitude.
Teamcenter server processes maintenance and operation in Linux and Windows environments. Batch jobs maintenance and operation.
Improve and develop tools for operation functionality / Stability / High Availability.
Perform KB articles creation, reviews, GTAC reporting
Infra monitoring, performance, extended debug logging, running utilities, standard preferences changes

 

Why do you fit the profile?
Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
Experience&Qualification
At least three years of experience working with supporting / administration of Teamcenter + CATIA. Has worked with User support & operations
Experience from working with global and complex environments.
Experience in working with ticketing system including KB articles.
Good knowledge of root cause analysis, recurring incident solving, proposing improvements.
Experience from Teamcenter Multisite. (Nice to Have)
Good knowledge of Active Workspace, Solr database, Docker and Visualization. 
Knowledge of Linux (Must ) 
Windows Server operating systems,  Apache / JBoss / Load Balancers / firewalls. (Nice to Have)
Experience in performance analysis.
Can work with Teamcenter tools and utilities 
Experience in investigating new technologies to improve and optimize the application
Fluent in English with strong communication skills
Experience in operation and maintenance of cloud platform and service, e.g. AWS, AZURE.
