We are excited to create a new role in the department of Strategy & Products APAC with focus to lead the Cycle Plan management and business planning within Volvo Cars APAC region.

Summary of the role:
Cycle Plan management is to regularly update and consolidate the volume planning based on the product portfolios of Volvo cars. In order to align the mid-&long term volume forecast and planning in APAC, you should not only keep contact with regional product managers or business representatives but also maintain a stable dialogue with related teams in HQ in Sweden.
In this position, you will also play an important role to carry out overall business case study to support related business assumptions. We are looking for a senior manager with strong passion and business acumen for such role.

What you will Do?
- Support APAC organization to achieve their business performance targets (volume, market share and business case) – mid-term & long term.
- Be engaged in the discussions of product portfolio, cycle plan and volume & segment forecast with central teams to secure & input APAC region requirement.
- Build the APAC volume forecast and overall business plan, strategically by driving the business planning calendar and target setting process.
- Coordinate annual and regular business planning cycle to align the volume update, business forecast and demand planning, e.g. emission upgrade.
- Debate the volume plan and potential ambition cross regional markets and maximize the overall business balance from APAC point of view.
- Drive the business plan scenarios and assumptions in line with commercial development and strategic transformation, e.g. CKD/CBU business assessment in APEC markets.
- Work with product managers or markets representatives to refine & consolidate outcomes for the product volume planning and lifecycle forecast.
- Evaluate business dependency, potential risk as well as overall outlook on the lifecycle planning.
- Cooperate with finance/business team to summarize the business change impact for revenue, contribution margin projection.
- Develop, review and carry out concrete insight in relation to portfolio, cycle plan and volume intelligence reporting to the management team.
- Provide ad-hoc support for strategic project assessment or new business case study on a need basis.

- 10+ years of experience in senior analytic role, in which at least 7+ years of experience in auto industry.
- Familiar with volume forecast or sales planning of auto industry is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge about automotive products is a plus.
- Team player – willing to be flexible in how to work with various stakeholders.
