Compliance & Ethics Officer, APAC/亚太区合规官

The Compliance & Ethics Office of Volvo Cars is looking for an engaged and pro-active person to conduct internal investigation related matters, support the data protection related projects, perform C&E trainings and also support the APAC Compliance & Ethics team with other projects. 

Job Family Description:

The Compliance & Ethics Office is responsible for the development, implementation and governance  of the Compliance & Ethics programs within the Volvo Car Group. The Compliance & Ethics programs include the areas of corruption, anti-competitive behaviour, data protection and export control matters as well as other Code of Conduct related matters.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct all kinds of Compliance & Ethics related investigations within Volvo Cars APAC
  • Support data protection related actions in the region: (i) implementing all applicable rules and regulations in all concerned markets, (ii) provide legal advice and support to the business and ensure adherence to the data protection matters
  • Provide trainings to stakeholders throughout APAC
  • Conduct risk assessments in the region
  • Provide advice and support to the business in Compliance & Ethics related areas
  • Ensure commitment from the main stakeholders and more generally from Volvo Cars employees

You and Your Skils:

  • At least 3-5 years of prior experience as an investigator or data protection expert, either in law enforcement, as a consultant and/or as an in-house officer
  • Academic degree (minimum Master´s level), Law degree and/or Compliance and Ethics-related education is a plus
  • Have insights and deep understanding of the automotive industry
  • Desired Competences
  • Fluency in written and verbal English & Mandarin
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing)
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Analytical and synthetic skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability to make decisions and advise, develop solutions within relevant C&E area
