What do we offer?

  • Exciting role as Rear Suspension Developer of customer focused Suspension System incl overall responsibility for in house and suppler developed functionality, system design and verification.
  • We are now looking for (Sr.) Lead Engineer (Rear Suspension Developer) to strengthen our team. You will work with a riding comfort and safety related system, be the connecting point for functions, attributes and suppliers to secure quality deliveries in time.
  • ART Body Control & Road Contact are responsible for Hardware and Software modules and our work stretches from early phases to industrialization and launching new cars on the market. Our main role is to develop products and functionalities that are closely connected to customers and the way they are experiencing the vehicle. We make impact on the customer’s experience of a premium car!

What you will do?

  • You will be working in a cross functional global team with agile processes and tools. Lead collaboration with other teams and with suppliers to develop and deliver Rear Suspension Products (Rear Subframe, Knuckle, Upper & Lower Arms, etc.) 
  • You will work in a team who are responsible to develop and implement quality assurance of Suspension system. Team task includes planning and organizing project incl. deliverables for releases, leading suppliers and supplier selection together with procurement, analyzing and solving problems, design requirements and system solution and write requirements and issue and change management.

Why do you fit the profile?

  • Solid knowledge for suspension structure components (Subframe, link arms, Knuckle, Impact Member etc.) process (Aluminum Profile Welding, HPDC, LPDC, Stamping, Machining etc.
  • Solid knowledge for suspension product, design/attributes/supplier capability etc.
  • DMU / Kinematic / GD&T knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience for CATIA use to design suspension component from sketch to final product, good skill to base on supplier manufacture feasibility input to update current design both 3D and 2D.
  • Familiar with TS16949 and vehicle development process, highly resp mind to secure component be delivered according to vehicle development plan.
  • Good communication with all stakeholders during product development (Buyer, SQM, Attribute Leader, EU colleague, Homologation, project etc.) both in Chinese and English.
