Supply Chain Coordinatior

Your main tasks?

Fulfil function KPI and tasks on time. Find out gaps and take measures.

Release material call-off of running production and project build to supplier timely and accurately. Make sure material arrives at plant on time to meet production demand.

Supplier capacity management. Be familiar with related capacity terms in commercial contract and be aware of supplier real capacity status and Volvo bought capacity.

Make sure good communication and feedback with supplier when call-off changes a lot. Keep good cooperation with suppliers and establish regular meetings for key suppliers.

Be responsible to coordinate with supplier, buyer, SQM and R&D to solve supplier constraint issue and report out to management in time.

Continuously optimize safe stock strategy and reduce safe stock without influence to production.

Premium freight cost control: make sure clear responsibility logged and A-report issued to supplier for premium freight caused by supplier backlog, mix or missing parts.

Follow up supplier delivery performance regarding delivery precision, ASN creation, quantity and mixed material etc. Issue A-report, push supplier to do improvements and charge to supplier.

Responsible to manage supplier self-delivery and make sure supplier understands and meets Volvo requirement regarding delivery safety, timing, truck, packaging and so on.

Work closely with production planning team to evaluate influence to material stock, transportation and supplier delivery based on planning change and provide suggestion to production plan based on material restriction.

Monitor and record the materials historical inventory levels and predict future trends, compare with the inventory strategies, analysis the reasons for differences. Give specific proposals to reduce the risk of too high or too low inventories.

Ensure the project materials arrive timely and accurately. Control premium freight cost.

Engineering change material control, timely feedback and coordination with other functions. Avoid new parts not arrive on time or old parts surplus.

Control the material phasing out to ensure surplus stock within target level.

You and your skills?

English: Have good reading and writing skills, fluency in oral communication.

Software: Skilled user of Word, PowerPoint. Have advanced ability in Excel, can develop MRP template.

Expertise: International trade, international logistics management, supply chain management. Be familiar with SAP MM and PP module, especially MRP and WM. Prefer to have some knowledge on database and programing.

Others: Basic project management knowledge and experience.
