Machining engineer, Equipment&Process

 The summary of the role:

Responsible for the technical support of aluminum high-pressure die-casting part machining process development, establish and implement process standards to ensure the stable operation of equipment in die casting workshop.

 

What you will do?

  • Responsible for the repair and maintenance of machining equipment for aluminum alloy high-pressure die-casting parts (including CNC machining, Helicoil, cleaning and drying equipment, laser treatment and polishing equipment);
  • Develop and improve various equipment management rules and regulations, establish and implement various equipment management standards;
  • Timely and efficiently diagnose and solve difficult faults in production equipment, improve the reliability of equipment and processes;
  • Responsible for predictive maintenance of machining lines, developing emergency plans for maintenance of machining equipment failures, identifying spare parts lists based on equipment operation, and developing procurement strategies for spare parts;
  • Establish a machining training system, develop professional equipment and process training documents for the machining field, engineer teams, and equipment maintenance personnel;
  • Responsible for the R&M of the workshop, working with the product design and development department to make decisions on equipment selection, review design plans, and supervise the installation and debugging process for new car models;
  • Participate in workshop layout planning, process optimization, review of machining processes and related fixtures, and process simulation during the new project stage;
  • Responsible for machining and debugging of aluminum alloy high-pressure die-casting parts, program changes, and process optimization;
  • Develop measures to enhance the production process capability of aluminum alloy high-pressure die-casting parts, and address issues related to process and quality during the production process;
  • Lead the pace optimization and efficiency improvement of aluminum alloy die-casting parts machining, and enhance the production capacity output of the entire line;
  • Achieve KPI goals for workshop equipment, analyze reasons, improve and track them.

  • CNC debugging and optimization experience of aluminum alloy high-pressure casting parts
  • Possess experience in equipment selection, tool fixture design, cutting technology simulation, on-site debugging, and training 
  • Experience in CNC machine tool programming
  • Familiar with the working principle and daily maintenance of CNC machine tools (CNC lathes, machining centers)
  • Proficient in the repair, replacement, and maintenance of mechanical components such as machine tool screws, guides, spindles, and tool libraries
  • Familiar with the installation, debugging, calibration and other skills of machining equipment
  • Familiar with equipment system management
  • Proficient in using machine tool inspection instruments and measuring tools (laser interferometer, level gauge, micrometer);
  • Proficient in the use, maintenance, and upkeep of water, electricity, gas, and hydraulic systems;
  • Possess certain experience in project management or project participation (equipment overhaul, renovation, machine processing automation production line installation projects);
  • Strong sense of work responsibility and execution ability;
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Good computer and software skills (CATIA).
  • Excellent English reading and writing skills.
