Process Engineer

Summary of the role:

• To support manager and process engineering team in daily business

What you will do:

• Set up and optimize production standard process according to quality and safety requirement of VCCD;

• Improve efficiency of production line, make production with high efficiency, good quality and safety;

• Manning control for whole shop production base on both shop production requirement and plant HC target;

• Lead capex and project implementation;

• Actively participate in Operation Availability improvement;

• Initiate and implement corrective activities, issues and provides production with new T-PII;

• Knowledge in shop layout council with ME, FM, MP&L and layout engineer, optimize shop layout;

• Be involved and give input based on experience from production to support improvements in projects;

• Give relevant training to keep team competence up to the level;

• Follow up engineering related targets in scorecard and start actions on deviations in master plan.

• Responsible for delivery of all main tasks within responsibility area.

• Responsible for set up and optimize production standard process, operation instruction, methods and tools;

• Strive the benchmark for all efficiency related activities.

• Bachelor’s degree or above;

• Engineering major is preferable;

• Certified Green Belt, Black Belt is preferable;

• Minimum four years related working experience.

• Practical experience from the production process or manufacturing Engineering process, other department work experience is preferable;

• Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing;

• Good at Office software;

• Skilled in AutoCAD and CATIA.

• Skilled in lean manufacturing, ergonomic standard, problem solving method at Volvo Cars Chengdu and can guiding others;

• Skilled in the processes, capacity, lean methods and tools;

• Can applicate VPDS & FMEA & control plan;

• Skilled in time setting analysis;

• Result oriented;

• Analytical;

• Strong ability to co-operate.
