As the Purchase to Pay Senior Specialist within Global Finance Operation Delivery organization, you will be located in Charleston, SC.  In this role, you will be responsible to facilitate smooth execution of purchase to pay (PTP) processes in the Americas region. You will also have collaboration with national sales entities (NSCs) within PTP to facilitate the business and growth agenda of the company.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading resolution on inquires related to PTP process proactively and escalate timely to applicable parties for swift resolutions
  • Responsible for creation, standardization and efficiency of the AP area for all the local Sales Units
  • Manage the shared services finance PTP team, motivating the team to deliver efficient processes, leveraging automation and standardization to deliver excellent transactional PTP accounting services to the business
  • Focus on quality, standardization and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with current global principles, standards and frameworks
  • Ensure good cooperation with relevant stakeholders
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Propose process improvements to Global Process Owner and drive implementation within the team
  • Support local Finance team
  • Present to management report on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Secure that we have the right knowledge and competence in place at the right time
  • Measure, analyze and improve metrics (KPIs) for PTP processes
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company’s policies & procedures



Key Competencies/Abilities:

  • University degree in Business Administration with Finance & Accounting or equivalent
  • Around 5 years of experience in PTP area
  • Good knowledge of Finance processes full ability of applying these in the daily work
  • Experience in executing global processes locally and working effectively in a global team
  • Preferably with leadership experience and ability to coach and supervise less experienced
  • Fluent in English, oral and written
  • Excellent analytical skills and a holistic mind set
  • Proficient in SAP FICO
  • Proficient in Ms Excel and other Ms Office applications
