Let's introduce ourselves

We are now seeking a Fullstack (TypeScript, React, and .NET) Engineer for the Volvo Cars Lead Capture team within the Commercial Digital department. Our mission is to provide easy ways for future customers to connect with Volvo Cars, through volvocars.com and any other third-party potential customer leads providers. Our backend is used by millions of monthly users across 90+ markets around the world.

What you'll do

In this position, you will develop and maintain highly reliable and scalable web applications using TypeScript / React and C# / .NET. You will also write comprehensive unit tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of the backend and frontend applications. Furthermore, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure the applications align with the company’s goals. You will be part of an agile and data-driven product organization. You will also participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality codebase. On-call support is included due to the criticality of the supported product, which will take place approximately once every 6th week. 

What you'll bring

You have 3 - 5 years of professional software development experience, display a growth mindset, and are willing to learn and improve your skills. We are open to candidates with solid expertise in either the front or backend domain who want to become full-stack engineers with .NET and TypeScript. 

You have good communication and collaboration skills, including documentation and sharing knowledge with colleagues, as well as displaying empathy towards users, fellow engineers and other co-workers.

 

You will bring: 

 

  • Proficiency in TypeScript / React with an extensive track record in front-end development.
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET and backend development.  
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure. Azure experience is a plus, not a must. 
  • Knowledge of container orchestration engines, e.g. Kubernetes. is appreciated.   

 

Location: Stockholm (hybrid; 3 days a week on average presence at the office is required).
