Summary of the role:
Following company strategy to be employer of choice, create a wellbeing workplace for Volvo Cars employees and talents by caring our employees and visitors. As one of the people manager in workplace experience team, overseeing the performance, development of team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

 

What you will do?

  • Being responsible of Real Estate & Leasing Management, and Company Cars Management. 
    • Direct the strategic planning and operational management of company properties, ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance of real estate assets.
    • Lead the allocation, servicing, and regulatory compliance of the company vehicle fleet, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and standards.
    • Implement rigorous governance processes for real estate and vehicle assets to ensure they meet and exceed company standards.
  • Strategic Management of Suppliers and Teams to Deliver Premium Services and Ensure Disturbance-Free Operations. 
    • Develop and negotiate strategic partnerships with suppliers to secure high-quality services and products.
    • Establish and enforce service standards that reflect Volvo's corporate culture, continuously monitoring and enhancing performance.
    • Conduct regular reviews of key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
    • Ensure all operations adhere to ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO18000 standards, and relevant legal regulations.
    • Stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices, incorporating them into the organization’s operational framework.
    • Design and execute detailed emergency response plans to ensure the safety and security of employees and assets.
  • Advanced Employee Satisfaction and Engagement Initiatives. 
    • Establish a robust and responsive feedback system, addressing employee concerns with urgency and thoroughness.
    • Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to improve the employee experience.
    • Utilize feedback and best practices to drive changes that enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity.
  • Rapid Adaptation and Integration of New Technologies and Regulations. 
    • Stay at the forefront of industry developments, embracing new technologies and regulatory changes.
    • Integrate new knowledge and practices swiftly into existing operations to boost efficiency and ensure compliance.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability within the team, promoting ongoing professional growth.
  • Execution of Ad Hoc Assignments. 
    • Demonstrate readiness and flexibility to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
    • Exhibit a proactive and strategic approach in managing unexpected tasks and challenges.
  • Team management    
    • Act as a people manager, overseeing the performance, development, and wellbeing of team members.
    • Mentor and coach junior team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

  • Fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin
