In Complete Software Integration & Release department, we secure a capable, stable and robust electrical system through continuous integration, verification and release. Our use of the Vehicle in the loop (VIL) testing environment is instrumental in validating the performance of the complete vehicle at system-level operations. The VIL framework supports a comprehensive suite of testing methodologies, encompassing both manual and automation testing to streamline verification & validation processes and enhance accuracy.

 

What you’ll do

We are seeking a VIL Test Engineer with a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing to join our dynamic teams. In this role, your main responsibilities will encompass the following:

  • Develop test cases (manual and automated) in VIL environment to enhance complete vehicle software quality.
  • Execute thorough validation and verification tests in the VILs, analyze test results and communicate findings with the corresponding development teams to ensure the continuous enhancement of vehicle software systems.
  • Maintain and improve VIL test infrastructure, employing innovative solutions to streamline testing procedures and improve system robustness.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams located in Gothenburg and Shanghai to unify testing practices and enhance testing efficiency and productivities.

 

What you’ll bring

  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar fields.
  • More than 3 years relevant working experience in VIL.
  • Familiar with programming languages and development tools, such as Git/Gerrit, Python, CAPL.
  • Experienced in system software testing and fault tracing in a complete vehicle.
  • Familiar with automotive communication protocol, e.g., CAN/LIN/Ethernet
  • Proficient in designing and refining test cases for diverse testing needs.
  • Skilled in Vector tools including CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, vTest Studio etc.
  • Fluent in written and oral English, preferably worked in an international environment.
  • Strong communication abilities and collaborative mindset.
  • Proactive, creative, and committed to teamwork.
  • Experienced in utilizing CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • C1/C2 driver license.
