Summary of the role: 

Car Service Business APAC is a unit within Volvo Cars. Part of our responsibility is to create a user-friendly owner experience around current and future cars in Volvo’s portfolio. 
At Global Technical Support within Car Service Business, you are part of a global team with the purpose to safeguard that our consumers continuously have the freedom to move, by providing preventative & precise support for our mobility solutions.
The automotive industry is currently undergoing a significant transformation driven by changing consumer behaviors, technology shifts and digitalization. Within the department Product Performance, we are applying our data driven and customer-oriented approach to help others to see and understand the customer when a defect caused by a quality deviation occurs.

About the position :
The purpose of this role is to support workshops globally with technical workshop information and provide solutions or even workarounds. 
You will act as the liaison between the local technical support and central teams within Car Service Business. 

 

What you will do

  • Answer TIE reports from local support teams globally.

  • Support workshops globally with technical solutions and quality improvements. 

  • Provide technical support about workshop information and systems to local support.

  • Constantly review the existing processes to increase the quality towards the retailers and end customers by eliminating waste.

  • Collaboration with Workshop Performance Engineer (WPE). 

  • Support areas such as parts information, repair method, wiring diagram, diagnostics, special tools, VIDA (Vehicle Information & Diagnostic for Aftersales) application and Volvo standard time guide.
