Who Are You.

Employee Relations Manager designs, plans, and implements company's employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. Maintains good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction.

What You’ll Do.

  • This role is in charge of PX (HR) policy management, advise on fair and equitable employment practices, make recommendations and provide guidance in support of our culture and ensure that such policies/procedures comply with our work culture and Chinas employment laws.
  • This role will be the internal consultant to support HRBP and their related business unit(s)/departments by providing consultation on employee relations (ER) matters.
  • Managing employee relations issues (e.g. investigating employee and/or supervisor complaints regarding conduct, performance, or attendance, mediation between employees, etc.)
  • Labor/Union agreement negotiation and administration (e.g., representing the organization in negotiations, interpreting and administering union/labor collective bargaining agreements, monitoring compliance and participating in arbitration, etc.)
  • Advises and trains HRBP, managers and supervisors in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances. Develops further training as needed.
  • Proactively develop and deploy employee relation interventions to mitigate people risk.
  • This role need to be the key contact in APAC for any global labor affairs policies/programs  implementation in APAC. 

Case Management:

  • Effectively manage high risk cases, work with Senior stakeholders across the geographies, ensure compliance and governance while handling matters related to regular and temp workforce. Conduct investigations related to misconducts, discipline, harassment, integrity and work ethics;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to service line leaders as well as internal HR teams in managing wide range of employee relation issues;
  • Support the management and execution of projects (volume based exercises) related to Disciplinary Management.

Risk Management:

  • Defining and managing employee-related risk across the country in Asia Pacific

Governance:

  • Translation of country legislation and regulation into pragmatic actions for country teams

 

You And Your Skills.

  • Bachelor degree or above from a reputable university
  • With experience of autonomously conducting internal investigations and managing employee relations (ER) cases is preferred
  • Familiar with the Union matters is preferred
  • Should well versed in Compliance and regulatory matters
  • have the ability to multi-task and manage/drive multiple projects simultaneously, possess good problem-solving, detail orientation, and conflict resolution skills, and strong facilitation/influencing skills.
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proficient English in writing and speaking
