As a digital finance SAP Senior product engineer, you will join in global product DevOps team, collect APAC finance requests, drive the development and operation activities in the finance system landscape not limited to SAP ECC and S4HANA, supporting all the finance processes. You will be a key contributor in this work. Significant interaction and close cooperation cross all areas within Volvo Cars is offered.
 

What you'll do

  • Responsible for finance system operation including daily and month end closing activities. 
  • Review finance master data governance and security control including access control results in a regular basis.
  • Collect and analyze finance & business requirements, design and test proper solution to fulfill business value.
  • Build good connection with global team, bring the best fit solution to get support of global resources to ensure regional requirements can be delivered within stakeholder’s expectation.
  • Explore, evaluate, and fix existing finance system pain points, close collaborate with different digital teams to optimize and automize the finance process.
  • Participate in global rollout and local business transformation projects, responsible for the related finance system flow design and implementation.
  • Maintain full and effective communication with APAC finance community. Organize regular catch up to summarize and review the system process, put forward effective optimization and improvement schemes of the system, improve the user experience, and facilitate the training workshop.

What you'll bring

  • Excellent argumentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in SAP S4HANA and ECC SD/FI/CO modules
  • Experience of other SAP S4 modules like PP/MM and feeder system landscape considered as additional qualification.
  • Experience of OEM with VMS module or direct to customer project is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile way of working is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and controlling is a plus.
  • Travel may be required to provide onsite support cross Asia Pacific region and meet with global team.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • University degree, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven good understanding of the business and the strategies and goals along with a solid financial understanding and awareness
  • Independently work towards fulfilling targets and realise agreed business benefit 
  • Necessary people skills to engage, influence and convince senior internal and external stakeholders with confidence 
  • Utilize strong listening skills to formulate direct, responsive answers to questions
  • Strong ethics and integrity management
