Senior Engineer, Supply Chain Risk

What will you do?

• Keep track of risk parameters, identifying deviations and reporting them in the organisation. Involves working within established risk management systems. Implement proactive measures within the supply chain to avoid suppliers in constraints.
• Be proactive to avoid suppliers in constraints
• Ensure that risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints are managed appropriately at program,  project levels and in running production. In case risks threaten deliveries into the manufacturing sites start up taskforces and agree on recovery plans
• Lead cross functional global Taskforces:

• Lead the process of implementing an ICA (Interim Containment Action) to secure the supply of material
• Act with high sense of urgency and take the mandate to secure production.
• Identify shortcomings in existing processes and create and implement a PCA (Permanent Containment Actions) curing the Root Cause and prevent a recurrence of the risk/constraint.
• Guide the process of going on Gemba at supplier sites
• Lead the constraint case by monitoring the time frame, the action plan & take accountability to implement the actions to resolve the problem and secure a long term sustainable performance level for the supplier in close collaboration with all line organisations involved

• Act as a taskforce and project leader to monitor the case and implement in collaboration with the cross functional team the best solutions. Be resilient in rebounding from setbacks and able to act in chaotic and difficult circumstances
• Collaborates cross functional by acting as a bridge between VCC manufacturing and other VCC entities Motivate people to commit to take the correct actions and to act out of the box with high sense of urgency to achieve the organization's business goals.
• Organize and prepare documents using a variety of computer applications. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
• Lead Lesson Learned Constraint activities in selected cases in order to secure corrective actions in concerned departments.
• Participate in VCC senior Management events / reviews, such as White board, Supplier action days, Audit action days, SRM, etc.
