Senior Buyer, Interior

What will you do?

• Develop commodity/supplier strategy and implement.
• Sourcing for new project.
• Delivery on agreed cost reduction target and localization target.
• To effect negotiations at an optimal cost level according to applicable agreement structure.
• Secure supply chain capacity and resilience to production plants.
• Make agreements and contracts and implement these through the appropriate transaction tools.
• Co-operate in global cross-functional teams to develop and utilise strategies to maximise corporate synergies.
• Strive to attain constant improvements and increase efficiency.
• Act as main contact for all commercial issues towards supplier base.
• Administration work (e.g. transactions, updating price orders, reporting of performance, resolving supplier / company issues).

Why do you fit the profile?

• Bachelor degree or above with engineering/supplier chain/commercial management background.
• Minimum 5+ years purchasing experience in automotive industry.
• Good knowledge about auto industry , seat knowledge will prefer.
• Familiar with cost analysis & reduction tools and approaches.
• Strong negotiation skill, good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent English in oral and written, be able in a variety of English communication clearly and sufficiently.
• Strong team player, self-starter and the ability to take initiatives.
• Pleasant personality, cross culture understanding, organizing and coordinating ability.
