What you'll do
- Promptly address and resolve issues related to Quality and Compliance digital products to minimize downtime and disruptions, including EIP, QCS, CoDev, and other Q&C applications.
- Provide technical support and expertise to business stakeholders to ensure daily activities run smoothly.
- Monitor and maintain application performance and availability, while troubleshooting issues related to applications, databases, and infrastructure.
- Manage the deployment and configuration of application updates, patches, change management, and new releases effectively. Develop and operate applications with locally managed instances and applications.
- Oversee deployments integrated with Azure, AWS, or Huawei resources. Utilize GitHub for version control, code management, and collaboration purposes.
- Develop and maintain an IT operations knowledge base, including comprehensive documentation for application support procedures, configurations, and incident resolutions.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to enhance solutions, adapting them to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new projects and operational initiatives. Actively participate in project planning and management, contributing to execution, delivery, and risk assessment.
- Keep in close communication with global teams to stay up to date on new technologies and strategies, thereby enhancing local capabilities and cooperation.
- Proactively learn emerging technologies to support evolving business requirements and innovation.
- Provide user support for Quality and Compliance digital products aligned with global scope.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a large organization or multinational company, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience in the quality and compliance area is a big plus.
- 3 years of experience in application support, with a mix of operational and technical environments.
- Proven experience in project coordination, demonstrating the ability to assist in coordinating cross-functional teams for multiple tasks.
- Good business communication and networking capabilities.
- Good IT knowledge of Azure, AWS and Huawei cloud, containers, GitHub, SQL, and databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other container-based technologies.
- GitOps with CI/CD strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address issues in complex environments.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams through strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good analytical abilities and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of IT fundamentals, including networking, servers, and clouds.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Being a collaborative problem solver. Self-motivated and having a strong driving force.
- Passionate about new technology and industry knowledge.
- Flexible, willing to adapt to changing and improving.
