What you'll do

You are reliable and resourceful to drive the design and implementation of people and organization development concepts, products, projects to secure competencies for today and future, from both people and organizational perspective

  • Plan, establish, and develop effective and innovative people and organizational development programs with a deep understanding of our business and strategy, to accelerate our business transformation and achieve our goals.
  • Design and deliver OD strategies, processes and interventions that support the Volvo Cars APAC to be a high-performance organization. Identify opportunities for performance improvement with business leader and PXBP through, for example, undertaking internal diagnosis, process/system reviews in order to understand barriers and possible solutions, conducting external research into good practice and new ideas, measuring the achievement of established goals.
  • Design, deliver and facilitate leading leadership development solutions/products to secure right competencies inside the organization, for today and for tomorrow.
  • Identify group/individual critical competency development opportunities and map them with effective learning and development solutions.
  • Closely work with business leaders and PXBP to ensure effective communication and consultation processes.

What you'll bring

 

  • An OD qualification, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through the significant experience working as an OD specialist or as an HR generalist with an OD focus.
  • In-depth knowledge and solid experience in learning/talent management/leadership development/competence management/organization development (in at least 2 areas) within a complex global organization
  • Advanced analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to apply them to an advisory role to inspire and initiate new ideas, as well as to determine and develop strategies/processes often in the absence of guidelines or technical assistance
  • Evaluates and directs complex situations that foster innovative approaches to procedures/processes on an organizational-wide basis focusing on critical strategic issues
  • Public speaking, presenting, and facilitating group activities energizes you.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Chinese and English to persuade or influence internal and external customers on a wide range of subjects.
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to define, prioritize and direct program, project or process objectives
  • Ability to identify customers/stakeholders and their interests, plan steps, and to coordinate and allocate resources in order to accomplish goals and objectives in an effective and timely manner
