Engineer, Supply Chain Controller

Summary of the role:

Main responsibility is to coordinate the logistics flow including test vehicles and test materials to/from Volvo Car China R&D.

What will you do?

• To manage the test material flow from different suppliers to APLAB.
• To collect material demand from different test engineers.
• To arrange the international and domestics transport for inbound and outbound material flow.
• To arrange the international and domestics transport for test vehicles.
• To manage the logistics service contract to secure the transport.
• To monitor the KPI of logistics suppliers.
• Cost optimization to reach defined service levels and key figures.
• The position includes the above-mentioned tasks but not limited. Area specific tasks may be added/assigned.

• Bachelor degree and above, major in supply chain management, logistics, vehicle engineering, etc.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within the area of supply chains management and logistics; Fresh graduates with strong comprehensive competences can also be considered
• Be familiar and good knowledge on auto parts and product development process
• Excellent problem solving, data analysis, decision making and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral.
• Very good communication skills.
• Team player with good communication skills and cooperation skills in a global organization.
• Good knowledge of customs is preferred.
• Experience from the automotive industry a bonus.
