Senior Accountant

This role will be responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting responsibilities within the Americas Region. This individual will be required to ensure accounting transactions align with Corporate Governance to ensure integrity in our financials.  You will work in close cooperation with other Finance colleagues both at our Americas center in NJ, our Shared Service Center in India, our Global Accounting Center in Spain, as well as functions at the headquarters in Sweden. 



  • Ensure all journal entries are processed and drive the month end closing/reporting activities within assigned area of responsibility 
  • Execute reporting in Hyperion FM for group consolation purposes as it related to relevant areas
  • Perform account reconciliations and relevant control activities to secure complete and accurate financials
  • Investigation and analysis of accounting discrepancies, and interact with the required department to resolve them.
  • Provide accounting expertise to the organization as it relates to new business setups, review of actuals, and the impacts of transactions
  • Execute all requests in a timely manner, along with the prompt investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Support the continuous development and harmonization of processes to maximize accuracy and efficiency for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Interface with external auditors and other consultants as necessary
  • Monitor changes in local US GAAP and Group Accounting Policies as they relate to assigned area of responsibility 



  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 3-5 years of previous accounting or relevant finance experience required.
  • Experience includes analysis of complex generally accepted accounting principles and IFRS with application to real-world transactions in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated maturity in business judgment.
  • Must be able to work independently while remaining a team player.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel required
  • Experience with SAP or Hyperion FM a plus
