Join the Americas Consumer and Enterprise Digital department as Digital Product Owner: Mobility & Delivery - Americas. Volvo Cars is launching new ways to drive a Volvo, and solutions must be improved to deliver a strong dealer and customer experience. Overall, we are designing an architecture that is prepared to meet our future business needs and enables development of interfaces to develop new services and exchange of information.

The selected candidate will work alongside VCUSA Care by Volvo and Customer Experience business teams and technical teams to build the product roadmap for supporting the Americas’ Care by Volvo and Delivery Management digital experiences. The product roadmap will consist of modifications to existing back-office solutions, creation of new Salesforce applications, and enhancing key digital touchpoints with Volvo customers.

· Own the technical development of the Salesforce solutions necessary to support Care by Volvo, Delivery Tool and other digital products as required

· Own, prioritize and facilitate the refinement of your product backlog to ensure that the agile product teams are delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value.

· Work with implementation team to realize the vision by executing the prioritized backlog in a clear defined and agreed upon schedule

· Accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of configuration, features and functionalities related to the product area.

· Accountable for ensuring the quality of releases on the product area, testing and validating that the requirements are met and ultimately accepting the work of the team before going live.

· Playing a key part in continually improving the ways of working with the product team and wider team services team at an early stage in the team’s digital transformation.

· Manage financials associated with the assigned digital products

· Establish metrics to drive engagement and value of both dealership employees as well as Volvo field employees

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Demonstrated ability to drive results with cross-functional partners across various functions (developers, business stakeholders, product and marketing teams, etc.)

· Strong communication and relationship skills with ability to facilitate and convince key stakeholders

· Project management certifications or heavy experience (PMP or PMP-Agile)

· Independent, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind-set and can-do attitude with the ability to have a grand vision, but still comfortable with working at detail level

· Must be comfortable being a leader able to influence across functional and technical teams spread globally.

· Fluent in English

· Nice to have: Prior experience owning products based on the Salesforce.com platform

· Nice to have: Prior experience with digital transformation projects.

 

Qualifications

· University degree in the field of Business and/or Technology

· Minimum of 8 years’ experience with proven track record in Digital and/or e-Commerce environment. (Ideally with a Manufacturing or Automotive Company)

· Must have experience working as a Product Owner or product management related role, preferably in an Agile working setup. Fluent English with foreign language skills a plus
