Job Summary:

  • The Parts Business Development Analyst is based in Rockleigh and is responsible for executing several key business functions within the Parts Business unit of Volvo Customer Service.  This role will report to the Manager of the Parts Business and would be responsible for tracking and reporting the key performance metrics for the Volvo parts business.  Additionally, the role will also be responsible for creating the strategic roadmap for existing programs while identifying new directions to take the programs.  The ideal candidate has strong business acumen with an attention to detail.  They must also be extremely organized with an advanced knowledge of analytical tools and techniques.  The role will be required to interface with senior management and must be comfortable creating and presenting presentations to large groups.  This role is highly independent, the candidate should be able to set objectives themselves, think through key steps strategically and execute tasks tactically.  Finally, the candidate must be able to collaborate and align diverse groups; several different business units work together to achieve annual sales objectives.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Reporting for the entirety of the parts business
    • Coordinate data gathering, analysis and formatting of revenue results, Wholesale business reporting, Sales Manager incentives, on-demand reporting
  • Program development and ongoing management
    • Manage existing programs and continue to identify future opportunities
    • Manage relationships with vendors responsible for program execution
  • Digital strategy
    • Manage existing programs and launch new ecommerce product offering to drive retailer installed accessory sales
    • Annually audit business objectives and opportunities of existing programs
    • Create annual budget
  • Align and coordinate with wholesale business development field team
    • Coordinate with the wholesale field team to develop the wholesale business and efficiency of parts business at Retailers and Volvo Certified Collision Body Shops


Key Competencies/Abilities

  • Bachelor’s required; graduate degree a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, exceptional understanding of Excel and PowerPoint, VBA proficiency is a plus
  • Organized, logical and detail oriented – should be able to think through the numbers and identify inconsistencies
  • 5+ years of experience in program management or equivalent
  • Self-motivated and able to drive tasks to completion with minimal oversight
  • Team-player who can drive business objectives through consensus agreement
