Job Summary:   

The US Military Sales Specialist is responsible for oversite of the customer and car ordering process for US Military personnel residing abroad (Active US Military and US Diplomats). This position will act as sales support to US Military Sales Agents and US Retailers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • US Military (Overseas) order management, vehicle stock, and pipeline production
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all vehicle and delivery data
  • Interfaces and acts as liaison with multiple departments within the Volvo Car organization
  • Sales Analysis - KPI tracking
  • Facilitates processing of vehicle ownership/registration documentation for USM Agents and customers
  • Content manage USM related documents for the Volvo Car Portal
  • Distributes various digital and printed materials to US Military Agents and/or US Retailers
  • Provide backup support to OSD Market Advisor as needed
  • Minimal travel may be required

 

Competencies/Experience/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ambitious, high energy, easy to converse with, team player, positive attitude.
  • Adaptable: Ability to adapt and prioritize with changing fast-paced situations.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Be flexible and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask by prioritizing activities in an efficient manner.
