Are you passionate about designing best in class consumer experiences and the necessary cohorts that drive it? Join the Volvo Cars CRM department as our next Senior CRM Data Analyst. Volvo Cars is embarking on a journey to launching new ways to drive a Volvo, and solutions must be improved to deliver a strong dealer and customer experience. Overall, we are designing an architecture that is prepared to meet our future business needs and enables development of interfaces to develop new services and exchange of information.


The successful candidate will have proven experience in modelling, testing, optimizing, and mining our overall first party data sources to identify unique audiences ready to convert or expand their relationships with us. You will be instrumental in scoring our overall customer base and work closely with both marketing journey teams and front/back end MarTech teams to input and test these cohorts, build learning agendas, and improve the overall loyalty, retention, and conversion of current Volvo owners and leads. The role requires a strong ability to work with a cross-functional team of digital and marketing colleagues where an agile “test and learn” culture thrives. You must have a strong understanding of regression analytics, as well as basic understanding of various machine languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Snowflake.


What You Can Bring

  • Report to lead Data Miner to analyze and optimize models across purchase behaviors (re-purchase, churn, best customer, and in-service) as well as business units (new car, service, pre-owned, subscription)
  • Variable testing and regression analytics processes to ensure models are performing at peak levels and identify new data sources necessary to improve model performance and persistency
  • Audience segmentation to create unique cohorts for all CRM outbound marketing campaigns
  • Work with Business Insight team to develop campaign reporting and learning agendas for further audience segmentation enhancements
  • Work closely with MarTech engineers to automate audience segmentation into SalesForce Marketing Cloud and SalesForce Core instances
  • Support modelling needs across America’s markets, including centralized support for LATAM, Brazil, and Canada
  • Define segmentation needs down to market/dealer level to support regional and market-specific audience scoring and segmentation



  • Up to 4 years’ experience in data analytics including experience with Python, R, and/or SQL.
  • Experience with Snowflake cloud modelling platform.
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein AI and big data analytics.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, regression, and predictive data modelling.
  • Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard building.
  • Data visualization skillset a plus!
  • Prior experience working in an agile working environment preferred.
  • Superior attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Independent, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind-set and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to have a grand vision, but still comfortable with working at a detailed level


Other Qualifications

  • BS degree in statistics or data science (MBA preferred)
  • 2+ years’ experience with proven track record in data modelling and analytics.
  • Preferred certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant.
  • Other certifications welcome!
