Job Summary:   

The Volvo Cars Finance team is actively seeking two motivated individuals to support our Accounting and Business Control areas.

 

As our intern(s), you will have the opportunity to coordinate key aspects of the Power BI implementation across Americas Finance. This involves cleansing data and ensuring accuracy of the financial information within the reports, and work with key stakeholders to ensure reports are visualized as intended.

 

These internships will help you develop real world experience in:

  • Robotics process mapping
  • Month end journal entry processing
  • Spreadsheet set ups and process documentation
  • Account reconciliations

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate data/reports across Americas finance to investigate usage areas for Robotics. 
  • Coordinate PowerPoint presentations across Americas finance as needed
  • Actively follow up on agenda/ minutes/ action points that come out of Americas Finance Management Team meetings
  • Update and develop various financial reports across Americas finance as needed. 
  • Coordinate analysis as it relates to the Americas Profit Optimization Process.
  • Actively coordinate and align inputs needed for Americas PSG by actively communicating with Americas excl. US markets.
  • GPS interviews with employees.

 

Key Competencies/Abilities:

  • Current enrollment in a related BS/BA or MBA program
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of analytical tools and techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Self-Starter/Motivated
