Let's introduce ourselves

The Learning and Development team is excited to find someone passionate about Learning & Development to join the Technical Training function! Through the internship you will gain skills by working with our technical training management team to run our technician training programs. Because we have five training centers in the US and two in Canada, we are seeking someone that is able to communicate well and work with others regardless of location. This position is right outside of Charleston, SC where we produce our new EX90!

What you'll do

  • Support the coordination and scheduling of training sessions and events
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
  • Partner with other team members on initiatives to ensure delivery and implementation of technical training communications and programs
  • Help evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with and support team members with the Volvo Tekniker Apprenticeship program

What you'll bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a related field
  • Strong interest in Learning & Development
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Team player ready to work together
  • Positive attitude each day
  • Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Salesforce, Power BI
  • Previously lead a project from start to finish

In order to be considered for this program, you need to be currently enrolled in a related Undergraduate degree program as a rising, Junior, Senior or anticipate graduating within the calendar year. Program is set to begin early June 2025.
