Job Description: We are seeking an entry-level Paintless Dent Repair Technician who is eager to learn and develop their skills in the art of dent repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of using various tools and a passion for automotive work.
This is a 2nd shift position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the repair of minor dents and dings using paintless dent repair techniques.
- Use a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment effectively and safely.
- Follow instructions and work under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills.
- Modify vehicles to proper specifications.
- Driving vehicles to proper location after repairs are complete.
- 5S Initiatives.
- Follow all PPE safety rules in accordance with SDS
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and basic mechanical skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for cars and the automotive industry is a plus!
Job Specifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have a hands-on technical background.
- Must have experience and knowledge of hand tools, air tools, battery tools, and hydraulic lifts.
- Must be able to drive vehicles on and off 2 and 4 post lifts.
- Must be able to set up vehicles on lifts while following all safety procedure.
- Must have basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Understand how to follow work instructions
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy in all work, while also multi-tasking
- Must be able to adapt to a teamwork environment.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with management and team members.
- Must be able to handle constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
- Ability to lift 33 LBS.
- Must have a Valid USA drivers license.
