Role Overview:

As a Digital Product Manager at Volvo Cars, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital offerings related to time tracking, payroll, and compensation management. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT specialists, designers, and stakeholders, to create cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals. Understand market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Local knowledge: good understanding of local American Time and Pay and other Compensation and Benefits processes and legal context
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with IT system experts to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize features.
  • Product Development: Lead end-to-end product development, from concept to launch. Collaborate with designers and engineers to create intuitive, scalable, and reliable digital solutions.
  • User Experience: Ensure a seamless user experience by championing usability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions, optimize features, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product vision, progress, and updates to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Agile Methodology: Embrace agile practices, participate in sprint planning, and adapt to changing requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Digital Product Manager, preferably in HR, payroll, or time management domains.
  • Strong understanding of digital product development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for innovation and staying abreast of industry trends.
