What you’ll do
Digital Core is an integral part of the transformation journey at Volvo Cars. It is a strategic partner, providing skills and competencies in areas such as cloud solutions, data science and analytics, SAP and UX/UI. We are responsible for key technology platforms within various domains such as R&D, manufacturing & logistics and the commercial area.
Our PLM Enablement Cluster ART is a part of the R&D Digital organization within Digital Core, Volvo Cars. We deliver capabilities for Research & Development, Manufacturing Engineering and Design; enabling hardware engineering and UX development. The cluster consists of cross-functional teams with an end-to-end responsibility for operation, mainteancec, and for a number of applications mainly within the PLM area. The cluster is participating in an initiative to roll out a completely new Teamcenter environment based on Active Workspace which will replace the existing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
You will work with
• Teamcenter administration, environment setup, and deployment in a Linux environment.
• Perform Teamcenter upgrades and patch deployments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Investigating new technologies to improve and optimize the application.
• Adapt and develop existing environments to utilize Azure cloud possibilities, with a focus on improving environment spin-up/refresh.
• Work with maintenance, operation and support. Propose and develop functionality that will improve stability and performance.
• Improve and develop tools for effective deploys and operation functionality.
This position is based in Gothenburg. You can expect some occasional traveling.
What you’ll bring
We believe that you have:
• A university degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience.
• At least thirteen years of experience working with supporting and administration of Teamcenter. You have worked with environment setup, deployment and upgrades in Linux environments.
• Experience from working with global and complex environments in a multi server Linux environment.
• Very good knowledge of Active Workspace, Solr database, Docker and Visualization
• Good knowledge of Azure cloud environments
• Experience from Teamcenter Multisite.
• Experience in performance analysis.
• Experience of working with Teamcenter tools and utilities.
• Experience in investigating new technologies to improve and optimize the application.
- Furthermore, we believe that you are fluent in English and that you possess solid communication skills. You are used to the agile ways of working, and you have a problem-solving attitude.
