Senior Product Manager - Fleet Sales (B2B e-commerce)

As Volvo Cars most important customer segment, accounting for the majority of sales, solving how to build a B2B e-commerce solution is on the top of our agenda. What we do
Our division, Global Online Experience is responsible for Volvo Cars website, e-commerce and apps. As of today, we have online sales for private customers in several European countries as well as in the US. We’ve offered the unique car subscription Care by Volvo exclusively online with exceptional results. We are now looking to grow further by addressing our corporate customers with new online offerings and e-commerce capabilities. With the ambition to have 50% of our sales online by 2025, expectations as well as dedication is high. This puts great demand on rapidly scaling the team and our capabilities and that’s why we are now looking for Product Managers within B2B e-commerce solutions to join our team. 

Our product cluster mission is to ‘Make Volvo the preferred mobility partner for B2B due to superior offer and customer experience for both fleet decision makers and drivers. We build everything from landing pages, sign-up forms and sales tools to company car browsing experiences, check-out solution and dashboards. Basically, all that it takes to successfully attract, convert, and retain corporate customers. 

What you’ll do 
As Senior Product Manager within our product cluster, you will take full ownership and accountability for the performance and commercial results of a product and also drive the product strategy into the future. Being proactive and keeping an eye out for what’s coming is what will make you successful as you will be able to identify opportunities and potential issues both for your own team and for collaborations in advance. You are expected to drive the agenda of your product and your team with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and autonomy. You must have integrity and in-depth technical understanding to ensure scalability as the product grows and be able to identify opportunities that come from the birth of new technologies. You are expected to understand and always safeguard the user’s needs. Your responsibilities include;


  • You articulate and consistently emphasize the short- and long-term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders
  • You own, build and prioritize the epics, features and stories together with relevant stakeholders
  • You manage dependencies to other technical teams and secure their engagement and commitment to your deliveries 
  • You work actively with agile methodology and ceremonies to improve ways of working and team output
  • You work with quantitative data and customer research and analyze that to understand your product performance, your users and the market 
  • Work closely with the Product Cluster lead and peers within the cluster to explore future directions and contribute to cluster-level vision, roadmap and presentations
  • Collaborate on both technical and design/UX needs and strategies and communicate around these

To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:


  • Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) from digital product management working with developers, UX designers and data analyst 
  • Strong business acumen with a proven track record of reaching business outcomes and executing ideas 
  • Practical experience of agile working methods, digital development and e-commerce or digital consumer services
  • Solid technical understanding of web applications and e-commerce solutions 
  • University degree, with engineering degree being a plus but not mandatory 
  • Strategic mindset and an excellent communicator in English (verbal and writing) 
  • Experience in automotive and / or B2B sales is a plus
