Objectives:
• Be a business consultant for the Importers leading sales, marketing, customer satisfaction, standards and profitability. The Regional Sales Manager is the main interface between Volvo Cars and the Importers to properly represent the brand and steer the overall effectiveness of business operations.
Responsibilities
• Annual Business Plan: Develop the new car production, wholesale and retail business plan for every market in assigned region. Proper and constant alignment of targets with the Importer Markets.
• Orders, Wholesale and Retail Monthly Forecasting: Accurate forecasting and target achievement per market maximizing market potential and stock management per market.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the assigned markets “including but not limited” competitors, market size, local culture, taxation chain, duties and local regulations, industry practices, macroeconomics, consumer trends and behaviors.
• Pricing and Offer: Constantly monitor competitors MSRP and transaction prices to develop the pricing and offer strategy together with the Importers.
• Budget Administration: Optimize budget efficiency for commercial offers, planning, measuring and analyzing stock levels per market and brand strategy implementation.
• Policies and Operations Procedures: Support, implement and follow-up of the required operational policies and procedures to ensure sales operations in the region.
• Policy Compliance Assistance: Sales Programs, VDB, Demo Car Programs, etc.
• Profitability Accountability: Maximize region´s profitability through the analysis of financial information, commercial actions implementation, inventory planning together with the financial controller.
• Reports and Data: develop and sustain data analytic reports to ensure a data driven sales operation. II.

What you'll do
Role Description:
Manages and coordinates the company's sales function including sales support and training, territory sales, and key account sales to meet the company�s business requirements. This is the top sales position for a specific location but is governed by policies and frameworks established by the larger corporation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Direction 5: Explain the local action plan, to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done, and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organization's strategy, mission, and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
- Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting 5: Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage the potential customers in relevant sales campaigns to build new relationships. Act as first point of contact for customer queries and complaints and resolve them, referring complex issues to others and ensuring that the customer receives an appropriate response.
- Sales Opportunities Creation 5: Identify potential customers by obtaining information, referrals, and recommendations from existing customers and other contacts and/or through participation in trade shows and conferences.
- Sell Customer Propositions 5: Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, use personal expertise to propose quantities and product configurations, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale.
- Promoting Customer Focus 5: Assist with the development of internal communications and work collaboratively with colleagues to build strong external customer relationships and meet customer needs.
