Right now, we have an exciting job opening for you as a Customer Relations Consultant with focus on supporting consumers for Volvo Cars Ireland.

The role as a Sales and Customer Relations Consultant at Volvo Cars Uptime gives you the unique opportunity to create and drive sales, whilst delivering a great customer experience for our consumers in Ireland. Uptime is the link between the Volvo Car Group brands, the consumer and the dealer/workshop. We give consumers excellent experience by engaging them with our partners’ products, services and offers.


What you will do

As a Sales and Customer Relations Consultant your primary responsibility is to lead interested customers through their sales journey, optimising conversion from interest to sale, and consistently deliver an outstanding, personal customer experience. As a brand ambassador, you will have an extensive knowledge of the Irish market, Irish consumers and their demands, and be able to engage with them in a positive, proactive way. Your customer-facing role is crucial in supporting our mission to improve the society we live in and bring our brand promise to life. You will have the opportunity to gain insights and learn so much both about the consumers and the products which could be highly valuable if you would like to build a future career within the company.

In this role you will communicate with consumers within the Ireland market based on their needs via live chat, phone and email to understand their inquiry/issue and communicate a viable solution with a high service level. You will also manage lead generation, delegation and follow-up of leads to ensure that they are being utilised effectively; acting as the first contact for interested retail and business customers. It is important to prioritise and escalate our customers' feedback and feature requests to the relevant internal teams. Your role includes continuously and actively identifying and driving activities with stakeholders within and outside Uptime to further improve quality and efficiency in our processes.


Do you fit the profile?

  • You have knowledge and working experience of the Irish market
  • You have a genuine interest in providing excellent customer service, understanding customer demands and expectations 
  • You are motivated by working in a fast-paced and dynamic team facing challenges in an optimistic way

We value previous experience within customer care operations and/or customer service from sales-oriented brands. The successful candidate will know how to work with CRM systems such as Salesforce etc. You need to have excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Having a valid driver’s license as well as knowing additional language(s) is a plus!


In this role you will need to have the ability to work evening hours, weekends and holidays, as we are available for our customers when they need us. On-site location is Maidenhead or Daventry.
