What you’ll do

We’re looking for a passionate product and brand ambassador for Care by Volvo, to join our growing team based at our UK headquarters in Maidenhead. Reporting directly into the Inside Sales Team Leader, you will act as the first contact for interested retail and business customers. By providing excellent customer service and communication based upon each customer’s unique needs, you will help inspire new customers to choose Care by Volvo.


You will:

  • Respond to all enquiries via telephone, email, chat, text and video with the aim of converting a prospect into a Care by Volvo customer.
  • Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication
  • Process enquiries appropriately on the CRM system (Salesforce) to enable future follow-up
  • Upsell customers by outlining benefits of premium grades, packs and options
  • Support marketing initiatives through maximising conversion of inbound leads
  • Acquire new customers through following up leads generated from direct marketing campaigns by outbound calling.
  • Proactively contribute ideas and suggestions for improving our customer’s experience
  • Work collaboratively with our Customer Relations department to ensure all sales related customer requests can be handled effectively
  • Liaise with our retailer partners (Volvo dealer network) to ensure a seamless omni-channel customer journey


Do you fit the profile?

Our ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly and professional, with a commitment to adhering to process and procedure. We are looking for someone that will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team with the ability to adapt, manage and meet deadlines and who are enthusiastic about new and emerging e-commerce technologies as well as cars. We believe your background and skills includes: 


  • Experience within sales or a customer-facing role where you have gained excellent customer management skills.
  • A good understanding of the various automotive finance products offered in the UK (PCP, PCH, HP).
  • First-class communication skills with impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Experience working with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.


Please note that this role will involve flexible shift patterns, that meet the needs of the business and individual needs (there will be an expectation for the Inside Sales team to respond to customer enquires in the evening on a rota basis – weekdays only).
