What You'll Do
Reporting to the Senior Ecommerce Manager, you will drive commercial performance within the Commercial Operations Department. You will optimize traffic, conversion, AOV, and customer growth, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Using data insights, you’ll identify risks and opportunities around pricing, campaigns, digital journeys, and marketing initiatives.
You will oversee trading priorities, analyse site performance, and provide actionable insights to improve results. Working with the Senior Trading Analyst, you’ll offer detailed reporting on performance drivers and propose trading actions. You will also lead post-campaign analysis, refine consumer journeys, and advocate for online sales within an omnichannel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse online performance data to drive trading actions.
- Monitor shopkeeping standards and address issues promptly.
- Ensure commercial viability across front and back end operations.
- Support the creation of the 12-month online trade plan.
- Identify site content needs and collaborate on consumer journey improvements.
- Manage online trade activities and oversee third-party partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Develop relationships with global and local stakeholders.
- Set high performance standards aligned with VCUK objectives.
- Manage resources efficiently to stay within budget.
- Continuously improve processes and maximise efficiencies.
- Provide leading-edge products and services to maintain competitiveness.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing an online shop (ideally omnichannel).
- Strong commercial acumen with budget, forecast, and P&L management.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and KPIs.
- Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Cross-functional, global experience with relationship-building ability.
- Resilient, motivated, and results-driven.
- Interest in direct business models, e-commerce, and marketing.
- Fluent English (written and oral).
- Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behaviour.
Nice to Have:
- Automotive industry experience and interest in mobility solutions.
- Familiarity with retailer/dealer partner networks.
