What you'll do
Reporting to the Senior Consumer Data Analytics Manager UK, you will be responsible for developing customer analytics, focused on acquiring, retaining and providing a brilliant experience for customers. The role demands extensive cross-functional collaboration within VCUK, to define, measure and analyse consumer data to produce insights to support actionable customer strategies. Other responsibilities will include:
- Drive the overall agreement, analysis and communication of consumer acquisition and retention metrics in the UK.
- Supporting the establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive suite of analytics to allow VCUK departments to fully understand consumer behaviour, prioritising efforts against commercial objectives.
- Drive KPI monitoring for key customer activities to ensure that campaign performance can be tracked and course-corrected where required.
- Identify and model future commercial opportunities based on your knowledge of past performance and commercial objectives
- Reporting and resolving data quality queries
- Support with new and existing consumer data processes and system integrations.
- Collaborate with Volvo head office on systems changes and new initiatives affecting consumer data, analytics and reporting
- What you‘ll bring
- The successful candidate must have:
- Deep knowledge and experience of data manipulation, analysis and visualisation using SQL, Python, Power BI etc.
- Knowledge of customer data regulations and local compliance requirements
- Demonstratable experience of developing data analysis within a fast-paced and highly competitive setting
- Strong influencing skills to drive adoption of KPI proposals
- Excellent communication skills that will ensure effective conveyance of complex information
- Ability to work well independently and to contribute as part of a team, with a supportive attitude to colleagues
- A background in statistics, machine learning or experience in Advances Analytics would also be desirable.
