What you’ll do
The role of B2B Consultant to provide a premium quotation and order take experience via a direct online procurement platform to the UK leasing industry. The role will support the brand objectives in placing our agreed leasing company order volume through our online procurement platform.  Through sound product knowledge, and with a compliant operational procedure, the role you will move a quotation through the ordering process to allocate a vehicle and pass the order to the B2B Delivery team and our retailer network for delivery fulfilment. 
You will be responsible for providing a courteous, professional, and advisory service to all leasing company order teams, ensuring Volvo Car UK maximise our opportunities for sales conversion.  Reporting directly into the B2B Team Leader, you will act as the first point of contact for all leasing orders.  By providing excellent customer service and communication based upon each customer’s unique needs, you will help inspire leasing partners to choose Volvo.
 
Your key deliverables will include
•    Building rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication
•    Responding to all enquiries via telephone, email & system messaging capabilities with the aim of converting a quotation into an order.
•    Managing the process of enquiries appropriately on the procurement platform to enable future follow-up
•    Proactively contributing ideas and suggestions for improving our customer’s experience and our processes
•    Managing the allocated incoming fleet sales quotations and orders, providing accurate and consistent pricing, specification, lead time and availability queries, where possible.
•    Working collaboratively with our retailer network to create a seamless omni-channel customer journey and ensure full support of the delivery stage
•    Working in partnership with our leasing customers to offer a premium service
•    Owning the relationship with your respective Leasing Companies to understand their end user accounts and create a single point of contact approach.
•    Developing and maintaining good relationships with leasing partners, retailer network, finance, and the B2B Operations team.
 
What you’ll bring
The successful candidate will be: 
•    An excellent communicator with the ability to engage with several different stakeholders
•    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook
•    Qualified in Maths and English to GCSE level or equivalent
•    Calm under pressure with an organised nature and strong attention to detail
•    Motivated by working in a fast-paced, dynamic team with the ability to adapt, manage and meet deadlines.
•    Systematic and process-oriented in their ways of working
 
A knowledge of the needs of both customers and the company and the ability to demonstrates this in their work is also desirable as well as a candidate who takes ownership in all aspects of their role, who can work without close supervision and demonstrate effective self-management. A candidate who can demonstrate resilience, self-motivation, and a commitment to self-development would stand in good stead for this role.
