Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst for Workshop Digital Solutions is responsible for the health and growth of our service lanes and workshops. As our Senior Analyst for Workshop Digital Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of reporting for workshop capacity and a variety of digital solutions that Volvo retailers employ. You will analyze the reporting and help identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiencies in order to create an improved customer experience and ultimately drive increased revenue across our retailer network. You will share the reporting across internal and regional teams, facilitating conversations to garner support for the deployment of digital solutions and workshop status.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret raw data files for ad hoc, weekly, and monthly deliverables
  • Create, update, and execute internal Power BI reports
  • Maintain and grow a database of information on what digital solutions are used by retailers, along with insights into deployment timelines, success factors, and utilization
  • Lead the development and deployment of an annual survey to capture current retailer bay and technician capacity, utilizing the information in our corporate service capacity modeling.
  • Use multiple data, internal and external, sources to enable cross-functional teams to drive new and existing retention initiatives
  • Provide business owners with postmortem analysis assessing the effectiveness of solutions and implementations
  • Craft corporate (internal) and partner-facing (external) communication and presentations to deliver clear, compelling stories supported by data

 

Key Competencies and Qualities:

  • A Bachelor’s degree within a discipline requiring strong analytical aptitude
  • Possess five or more years of work experience with data analysis in consulting, motor vehicle, and strategic planning fields, preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Must be proficient in Power BI
  • Experience with R and SQL preferred
  • Must have the ability to work independently, be a self-starter and self-learner
  • You will be detailed oriented and possess strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate results of analysis into implications and action items for the business
  • Courage to stand up for own perspective, even when it isn’t the general opinion
  • Possess curiosity for our business and a drive to solve problems and advance through a logical, effective, and practical approach
