We’re currently searching for a skilled Product Manager to join our Customer Care cluster, where we are committed to empowering our care agents with the best technologies available to assist Volvo customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager who has experience and passion for improving customer care in a global setting. In this role, you will lead an initiative to transform our systems, tools and capabilities used by US Customer Care agents, in partnership with a globally-based development team. You will become an expert at understanding a day in the life of our care agents in the US, and translate their needs into product requirements. You will work with business stakeholders to deliver a solution that empowers agents to assist customers in an efficient and effective manner.            

 

What you’ll do

• You will work closely with your Engineering Manager and UX Designer to develop effective solutions that are valuable, viable, usable, and feasible.

• You have an important part in building the product team and making sure the strategy and the roadmap are aligned with organizational objectives.

• You’re not afraid of signing up for results, even when this means they must work through others to achieve the necessary results.

• Influencing others, such as your team, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic.

• You are an expert communicator and understand how to keep both your team, your leadership, and your business stakeholders up-to-date on progress on an ongoing basis.

• You are tenacious at identifying and mitigating blockers and concerns, coming up with the right solutions in collaboration with your team and the business.

• You will create a vision for products and build a roadmap to achieve that vision.

• You will define and communicate the vision and strategy for US Care products ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap

• You will define a US roadmap in partnership with global teams to utilize globally available tools as much as possible.

• You will maintain and optimize products to maximize conversion and customer experience.

• You will work with business leaders to align with objectives, set benchmarks, and track performance.

• You will deliver a compelling story about your products through analytics and visual presentation.           

 

What you’ll bring

• 10 professional experience with 5 years of product management experience

• Demonstrated understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques

• Experience in working on technology-powered products as a product manager orb equivalent

• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing

• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, use sound judgment to assess risks, and lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative

• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship

• Comprehensive understanding of ecommerce payment and pricing products

• Excellent verbal, written communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally with the business, product, engineering, and UX

• Experience working with Scrum or Agile product development teams
