Volvo Car Americas

The Mighty Northeast Region is looking for an exciting new member to support not just the region and Volvo, but our Retailer Partners. The Regions are the bridges between VCUSA (where the vehicles are made) and the Retailers (where the vehicle ultimately ends up in the customers hands).

The Regions have a unique opportunity in that we can provide experience in a wide array of areas, so we are looking for someone interested in spending time and support all aspects of the region, this will include time with

• Finance
  • See how incentives get created and how profits are earned. Help use data to ensure we have the right product, with the right options in the right place.

• Aftersales
  • See how Service and Parts Drive revenues and work directly with retailers to grow retention.

• Marketing
  • Help build ads, support events, work with retailers on their marketing plans and use data to help our partners spend more efficiently to directly drive business to the stores.

• Product & Training
  • Support our internal teams as well as our retail partners with product knowledge and sales training.

• Distribution
  • Volvo builds the cars, it’s the Regions job to get them to the right retailers at the right time. Help build models for accessories, allocation and ultimately begin the revenue stream.

• Network
  • Work with our Network team on Retailer performance support and learn about buy sells, facility compliances and preparing for our electric future.

• Sales
  • The ultimate goal of a vehicle is to find a home with a customer, Sales is the portal to all of that. Work directly with our Retailer Partners in the field to learn all about how a Vehicle goes from our Ports into the customers hands! This is your chance to live, breath and support “retail life”  

Given the fast pace and ever-changing dynamics, we are looking for someone who wants to learn various aspects of the business, has a ton of energy and thrives in an ambiguous environment. Because this role will support multiple areas throughout the program timeline, this person should be craving change in their daily routine. Excel is our greatest weapon here, so the more awesome you are with that, the quicker your value add becomes. PowerPoint is a plus and we’d love to have someone with a design background (but by no means a must !)

Saying “being a People Person” sounds a little too obvious, but this role will have you engaging with a lot different people from all over the company, including outside of HQ in with our Retailer Partners, so great communication skills, matched with excellent listening capabilities is a must.

The Regions are hard work surrounded by fun culture, so be prepared to work hard, learn a TON, laugh A LOT and most of all have fun while providing instantaneous value !
