The Senior Digital Strategy Specialist – Northeast and Southern

Mahwah, NJ

 

 will be responsible for leading support and implementation of Volvo Cars’ digital retailing strategies in the U.S. northeast and southern sales regions. The Senior Digital Strategy Specialist – Northeast and Southern will interface with our regional teams to facilitate the adaptation of Volvo Cars’ digital transformation of its retailer website landscape and other digital retail tools. Additionally, the role will focus on improving digital performance in key business areas related to: retailer website content implementation, liaising with internal UIUX and content stakeholders to drive adoption of Volvo brand material, digital advertising, lead generation and management processes, and retailer website compliance management. The right candidate will exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to build strong relationships in the field and internally with cross-functional teams. This role requires moderate travel.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Champion Digital Transformation efforts within the northeast and southern retailer networks
  • Lead facilitation with assigned retailers, market managers and internal stakeholders in the promotion, support and maintenance of all initiatives related to Digital and website programs.
  • Collaboration with key partners to drive adoption of compliant website content, visuals and product nomenclature.
  • Coordinate integration with digital retailing providers, incentives and sales programs providers, and other vendors in a compliant manner.
  • Evaluate performance of, and provide guidance on, effectiveness of third-party tools and integrations.
  • Participation and leadership at regional digital meetings and other events.
  • Travel to various business conferences to enhance knowledge of Digital Transformation and present in Regional Marketing Boards.
  • Manage model year changeover tasks within owned regions and nationally, liaising directly with brand marketing, product planning and other headquarters teams.
  • Lead Volvo retailer identity management tools (YEXT, etc) within owned regions and nationally.
  • Generate and distribute Google Analytics/Microsoft PowerBI reporting on key metrics/KPIs within owned regional territories.

Goals/Objectives

  • Facilitate retailer adaptation of Volvo Cars’ digital transformation.
  • Assist retailers with website needs as they arise on a consistent basis.
  • Increase form submission/lead generation for retailers across new/used/aftersales website areas.
  • Monthly successful collaboration with Sales Programs and Inventory teams to achieve 100% correct incentives and inventory data across all website platforms.
  • Collaborate with northeast and southern field teams to align website strategies with sales targets and strategies/focus areas.

Key Competencies/Abilities

  • Must have Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 5-7 years of automotive experience required.
  • 3+ years digital experience preferred.
  • Automotive retail experience a plus.
  • Experience with Digital Advertising including SEM/SEO, Social Media and lead generation/management strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Familiarity with data/KPI dashboards such as Google Analytics, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, similar applications a plus.
  • Proficiency with productivity applications such as Notion, Miro, Figma a plus.

This role is based in-person at Volvo Car USA headquarters in Mahwah, NJ with 50% travel expected.
