Commercial Sales Specialist

Job Summary: This individual will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Overseas Delivery programs, A-plan by Volvo and Affinity programs to drive sales growth.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customize vehicle ordering for the Overseas Delivery program in the Tourist Order Application (TOA).
  • Provide Overseas Delivery sales support to U.S. Retailers, Customer Care, and the Regional teams
  • Ensure accurate specifications are applied to every customer order in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the Factory Delivery Center team on operational topics
  • Primary point of contact to Volvo’s Travel partner for operational topics
  • Support the creative development of Affinity and A-Plan programs
  • Timely responses to inquiries through the A-Plan and Overseas Delivery mailbox
  • Analyze A-Plan retailer and partner engagement
  • Maintain regular audit schedule of the A-Plan, Affinity and Overseas Delivery sales channels
  • Maintain the SSA (Special Sales Ambassador) database
  • Provide input on process improvements in both sales channels
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Commercial Sales group


Competencies/Experience/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year automotive or relevant industry experience
  • Time Management: Ability to multitask by prioritizing activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both written and oral
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ambitious, high energy, team player and positive attitude
  • Adaptable: Ability to adapt and prioritize with changing, fast-paced situations with minimal supervision
  • Possess solid analytical skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
