Department Overview:

Brand Marketing develops marketing strategies and integrated campaigns that drive the business, increase brand awareness, improve brand perception and attract new customers and build loyalty and revenue with Volvo owners. We lead campaign development plans, marketing asset creation and serve as the integration point across all marketing channels and PR.

 

Internship opportunity:

 

1. The candidate would work closely with the Brand Marketing team to shepherd small scale marketing initiatives for Aftersales and the Northeast region that consist of but are not limited to the following:

  • Aftersales Epsilon Mailer review: Giving the candidate the opportunity to assist in reviewing content received from agency partners, identifying areas of improvement, ensuring on brand content and correct imagery
  • Northeast Region and Retailer Support: Candidate will begin to have some exposure to both the Northeast region and their initiatives as well as retailer teams to help communicate new campaigns/activations in market, new assets available on the content store and status updates on upcoming campaigns.

 

2. Work closely with internal creative and production teams to assist in coordinating internal shoots, production schedules, and final delivery. This will allow the candidate some exposure on how a full creative film or image production works and work closely with internal teams across Volvo on their internal production needs. The candidate will support the team post-production as well, including finalizing retouching and Content Store uploads.

 

3. The candidate would work closely with the Brand Marketing team to shepherd small scale brand and or new product initiatives.

  • Assist in reviewing new content developed for both brand and new vehicle toolkits/campaigns
  • Working with both legal and product teams on approvals of new content including imagery and copy

 

In order to be considered for this program, you need to be currently enrolled in a related Undergraduate degree program as a rising, Junior, Senior or anticipate graduating within the calendar year. Program is set to begin early June 2023.
