What We Are Looking For:

Volvo Car USA LLC is seeking an Agile Transformation Manager focused on enabling the Digital Business to push our Agile teams’ performance to new levels.  The candidate will work in 3 main areas: coaching, transformation, and measurement to achieve this.

The candidate will be responsible for promoting and training industry best practices as a trusted advisor and coach for Product Owners, Development Teams, and the Management Team across the Volvo USA Digital ecosystem.  At Volvo, we emphasize “being Agile”, not just “doing Agile”.  We strive to impart an Agile mindset throughout our teams, and to the larger organization.  The focus is on creating an atmosphere of trust and transparency where the business and development can rely on each other, which enables the creation of high-performance teams.

The candidate will be responsible to enable the organization to put the Agile concepts into action.  Teams need to execute, deliver business value, and show a commitment to continuous improvement.  This may involve hands-on coaching, facilitating sprint planning sessions and retrospectives, and resolution of critical impediments.  The focus is on creating self-managing teams that aspire to deliver quality business outcomes more rapidly.

Improvement requires measurement.  The candidate will track adoption of practices and processes, and create repeatable metrics on quality and delivery.  They will prepare and deliver effective communications both verbally and orally regarding progress and status.
