What you'll do
As a Software Engineering Analyst – tester - in the core HM team, you will play a key role in securing the quality of the core user interface and system behaviour.
You will:
• Verify and validate the core HMI and System UI layer, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Work with features that act as the integration layer between multiple applications and vehicle functions
• Analyse defects and support root cause investigations in a complex Android-based system
• Drive regression testing and continuous quality improvements within the team’s scope
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and other ART teams to ensure robust deliveries
• Contribute to improving test strategies, automation, and CI-driven validation
Your work directly impacts how drivers interact with the infotainment system, from navigation and media to system behaviour and performance.

Technical background
• Solid experience in manual and automated testing
• Used to work with hardware, i.e. flashing units and updating rigs, extract logs
• Knowledge about Google xTS test suite
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Git/Gerrit
• Java understanding
• Android or embedded systems
• Debugging and Linux
