Our department at large, is working with many different areas from car feature development, SW architectural design, SW build tools & CI pipelines and system analyses. The teams are working in an agile way, with great independence, ownership and trust. We have a warm and relaxed atmosphere where you will be an important contributor to the team. You will build the next generation of Volvo cars.
What you will do
You will be a key developer and driver within our Tooling Team. We’re looking for a hands-on senior developer working in Python and CMAKE with our tooling important for the development of the SW running on the Core Computer. You will design, build, test and integrate SW, aligned with deliverables and deadlines. Our software will run on emulators as well as real hardware.
What you will bring
You are a hands-on senior developer with a curious approach to new challenges. You dig into technical details as well as understand the bigger picture. You enjoy great teamwork, are proactive, creative, and willing to share your experience and knowledge.
Required qualifications:
• 7 years’ experience developing Software/Tools in a Linux environment.
• 4 years’ experience in Python.
• Experience using GIT/Gerrit.
• A degree in Software engineering.
• Agile SW development
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Meritorious qualifications:
• CMAKE
• Bazel
• C++
• Experience from ISO26262 and ASIL compliant development.
• Experience from Automotive industry.
• Zuul and Jenkins
• ConfigHub/Artifactory
