About us 
We are looking for SAP EWM Consultant for our manufacturing demand cluster. The product secures the digital tools and manufacturing capabilities for our component plants. You will join the Manufacturing Demand Cluster within Global Manufacturing Digital at Volvo Cars. We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously, ensuring high quality and adaptability in our delivery.

This role is part of the Global Manufacturing team, which provides competence towards the digital solutions used to manage the supply chain and production of our cars. The role is part of the manufacturing value chain which supports business process like materials management, production planning and order execution. Main responsibilities  

 

  • Analyze/document business requirements and 'As-Is' processes 
  • Excellent understanding of SAP-standard solutions 
  • Assist in conducting gap analysis between business requirements and application capabilities 
  • Create functional requirements as an input to application design 
  • Perform application design activities aligned to business requirement in the EWM module  
  • Assist with build, test, and deploy activities within your area of expertise 
  • Manage end to end system integration activities through project lifecycles  
  • Defines and drives project communicational tasks, keeps contact with project members, close communication and building relationship with client 
  • Implement new or maintain existing business solution in SAP module EWM area based on user requirements analysis 
  • Propose, develop, or configure, document and test business solutions in SAP application module according to the functional and technical requirements 
  • Supporting the business with both runtime (support and maintenance) and onetime deliveries 
  • Working in Agile/SAFe environment and participate in SCRUM ceremonies

We think that you come from a role where you have had at least 8 years of exposure working in the industrial domain, and that you have complemented that with SAP EWM competence, since at least 5 years. 

 

  • You must have strong work experience primarily in SAP EWM, preferably along with SAP MM 
  • You must have been involved in at least 3 support & implementation projects 
  • Good hands-on expertise in cross module integration with SAP Finance, Production Planning, Quality Management, Sales & Distribution preferably in Discrete Manufacturing Industry. 
  • Should have knowledge on differences in the integration approach for EWM  
  • S/4 Hana & Fiori exposure is an added advantage 
  • Basic Debugging Skill - (Advantage) 
  • Work on POC's to take appropriate design decisions. 
  • Ability to understand business processes from a business/end user perspective 
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others 
  • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a Can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
