Volvo Cars welcomes students as Interns to our site in Krakow. As an Intern at Volvo Cars, you will be based in our office and involved in our state-of-the-art software development. Working daily with our team is a great way for you to get an insight to what life at Volvo Cars can be like and gives you a basic understanding of our ways of working. It also provides you with a strong network in our organization, which can be of value in your future career. 

What you'll do


As part of Tech Hub, you will work on exciting projects related to our upcoming fully electric cars. The role involves collaborating closely with Software Update team focused on developing software for Vehicle Control Unit based on NVIDIA chipset. You will help to define and refine requirements and test various features of our solution. 

What you'll bring


To be successful in this role, your experience likely includes:  

  • Knowledge in System Engineering
  • Knowledge of Software Architecture
  • Knowledge in Software Testing
  • Knowledge in Python
  • Knowledge in Real Time Operating Systems
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
     

Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge of SysUML, or similar tools used for systems description
  • Knowledge of C++ or C languages
  • Basic Knowledge of Linux, QNX, FreeRTOS, AUTOSAR
  • Knowledge of Embedded Electronics
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Robot Test or Google Test

 
The position is based in KRAKOW. It is full-time (40h/week), with flexible start time from 7 am till 10 am. The internship is expected to last for 9 months.
