Key competencies:

• Performance & Optimization: Ensure logistics targets (safety, volume, delivery precision) are met while optimizing production systems.
• Leadership & Coaching: Guide supervisors, develop teams, and provide training through coaching, Gemba walks, and feedback.
• Planning & Resource Management: Oversee department activities, manage priorities in real time, and handle personnel planning (absenteeism, holidays, performance).
• Process & Compliance: Ensure adherence to company standards, regulations, and VCMS development.
• Communication & Teamwork: Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring smooth coordination with support functions.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze team performance, implement lessons learned, and maintain high operational standards.
• Company Values: Act as a role model, promoting Volvo Car Group’s values and philosophy.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree or above, on-site logistics management experience is necessary, preferably in OEM
• 10+ years of management in highly automated OEMs or suppliers, logistics shop experience is a plus.
• Excellent in Slovak and English listening, speaking, written skills, and presentation

Compensation and Benefits

Monthly gross salary for this position starts from 3.000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
