Who will you report to?
The main reporting line leads to Head of Body in White.
What will you do?
Project phase:
- Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience in the automotive industry maintenance function to set up a maintenance organization, defining the most efficient setup for the specific shop, recruit, train and build the optimal organization using Value Driven Maintenance Processes and tools;
- Set the prerequisites for a shop with secured availability, maintainability, and maintenance supportability according to the VCC Reliability & Maintainability process;
- Be an all-round counterpart to the ME project team in all sorts of maintenance engineering-related questions in the project.
Running phase:
- Secure and improve KPIs such as OPR, technical availability, MCBF, MDT, maintenance costs and safety;
- Be responsible for leading and developing the Shop Maintenance Team by applying Value Driven Maintenance;
- Support and take active part in the shop’s future development (Line speed changes and introduction of new products/processes);
- Drive Best Practice Sharing Shop Engineering between the plants and within the plant.
What will you bring?
- Several years of previous working experience in a leading technical role in a highly automated industrial environment within Body in White, preferably OEM;
- Preferred university education in Mechanical/Mechatronic, Manufacturing, Automation, Electrical, or related field;
- Demonstrated flexibility, being able to work under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project;
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis, although based in Kosice, Slovakia;
- Conversational in English, written and spoken;
- Not only an individual contributor attitude but also an ability to work within a multinational team;
- Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, strong innovation ability, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies;
- Analytic and engineering data reporting skills.

Monthly gross salary for this position starts from 3.000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
