Who will you report to?
The main reporting line leads to Head of Body in White shop.
What will you do?
- Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous working experience from an automotive setting;
- Be part of the Body Shop Engineering team and will be responsible for the design and execution of all WIP (Work in progress) internal flows concerning the movements between the lines, as well as from Stamping and Machining Shop to Body Shop;
- Design and prepare in-side or between shops delivery loops and packaging solutions in line with VCMS (Volvo Cars Manufacturing System) and Line Back Principles;
- Logistic function area layout design, with less driven distance and less touch in the process;
- Engineer and optimize the material flow and information flow from end to end;
- Logistics space, tooling, equipment, industrial vehicle, manning resource estimation, improvement and control;
- Conduct business case and process improvement studies;
- Engineer the logistics operation route and resource design, including new project program launch;
- Design and engineer the material facade module and pull system, capacity balance, production, and supply chain flow balance;
- Build the standard (5S, Maintenance, Standardized Work) of logistic operation including physical process and information flow;
- Train SV and TL in how to define and improve Standardized work of in-plant logistics operations;
- Build up logistic digital system operation and deviation handle;
- Able to implement and improve AGV and AMR solutions.
What will you bring?
- Several years of previous working experience in an industrial environment and strong SCM network mindset for building high-efficiency flow, engineering the information flow & material flow;
- Preferred university education in Logistics/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience;
- Lean logistic knowledge with value stream mapping ability from supplier to a production line and an optimal flow set-up;
- Knowledge of flow design (P&S-lane/JIS/SPS/SEQ);
- 3D/2D (AutoCAD) software skills are a plus;
- Analytic and engineering data reporting skills;
- Passion for AMR/AGV flows and efficient logistics flows
- Flexibility, being able not only to work under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project, but thrive in such a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent technical communication and presentation skills, conversational in English, written and spoken, and preferably proficient in Slovak language;
- Not only an individual contributor attitude but also a demonstrated ability to work within a multinational team, influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis, although based in Kosice, Slovakia;

Monthly gross salary for this position starting from 2.000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
